He left Coinbase to focus on Core, recognizing its potential and alignment with his startup-driven mindset. Rich is also the CEO of Element Wallet, a consumer app for stablecoins and encrypted messaging. As a serial entrepreneur, he founded AutoReach, a B2B software company. He holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Economics from Boston College.

Brendon Sedo is an Initial Contributor at Core. Before joining Core, Brendon co-founded and served as CEO of Joist, a B2B software company acquired by EverCommerce (NASDAQ: EVCM). His fintech products have been used by over 1 million SMBs, processing $2 billion annually. Brendon’s operational skills and experience are now applied to driving Core Ventures, and expanding the institutional ecosystem at Core.

Ryan Hong is a Venture Contributor at Core Ventures. Previously, Ryan was on the investment and research team at various buy-side and sell-side crypto-focused organizations. His interest in distributed systems and crypto began in high school, and he holds a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University.
